Our review
Some ground rules.
These are set and enforced by the sangha.social moderators.
Practice Right Speech
Speak truthfully, kindly, and constructively. Avoid harsh, divisive, or abusive language. No personal attacks, name-calling, or trolling.
No Hate or Harm
Discrimination, bigotry, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia. Posts that glorify violence, encourage harm, or promote cruelty (to humans or animals) are strictly forbidden. Bullying, harassment, or intimidation of any kind will result in a ban.
Respect All Buddhist and Other Faith Traditions
All Buddhist schools and lineages are welcome (Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna, etc.). Avoid sectarianism or disparaging remarks about other traditions or beliefs.
No Proselytizing
Share teachings and experiences without pressuring others to adopt specific views or practices. Respect others’ paths, whether Buddhist or not.
Keep Content Mindful and Appropriate
Avoid NSFW content, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence. Posts should reflect Buddhist values such as mindfulness, generosity, and compassion.
No Commercial Advertising
Do not post ads or use the platform for sales or promotion without admin approval. Dharma-related events or publications may be shared mindfully and sparingly.
Protect Privacy
Do not doxx or share others’ private information.
Be Responsible with Politics
Political discussion is allowed when it aligns with Buddhist ethics (e.g., nonviolence, human rights). Avoid inflammatory or partisan rhetoric.
No Bots or Spam
Automated accounts are not permitted. Spamming or mass-posting is prohibited.
Reflect and Report
If you see behavior that violates these rules, report it mindfully. The moderation team will respond based on principles of fairness, compassion, and accountability.
